May is here! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping… and new shows are on the calendar. Here are a few shows to see if you have a chance. Most are under 20 bucks, and if I had unlimited gas money and got paid to be a music blogger, I’d go to all of these. But I’m not, so I won’t. Unless you are buying my ticket?
Never heard of these bands with strange names? Listen. Like. Trust me.

I just saw Black Lips last weekend. We weren’t too impressed. They were ok. But it seemed like the kids up front were having a good time. They crowd-surfed a ladder. That was something. Also, one of the dudes wears a pilgrim hat. So there you go.
The Delta Spirit is good/ok. The singer is hot, so that counts for something.
And Margot – nothing but love. (although i still haven’t listened to their latest album. oops.)
